The tree arrived well-packed and in good shape. It arrived about 3 days earlier than requested, but that turned out to not be a problem. As of Dec 28 (3 weeks after receiving it), it is still healthy, full, and dark green and only losing a few needles a day. On the downside, it is a bit lopsided (fuller on one side than the other) and leans a little out of vertical. It has served its purpose well. But, given the cost, because it was somewhat unbalanced, I probably wouldn't place another order in the future.
I am homebound and craved a real Christmas tree this year primarily its scent. I found a family farm that mailed trees and was excited. I selected a Balsam Fir for its strong scent and was so disappointed that it has no smell at all. Even when I crush the needles the scent is so faint. It's too bad. I like the tree, the service and the ease of putting it together even without the small saw that could have been purchased as a bundle but was sold out. Wish I had a better story.
